The Russian painist Tatiana Loguinova, who has the Belgian nationality, interpretes compositions of composers who worked for the Tsar's Court during the same period as Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven were active in Vienna. She plays on a copy of a Anton Walter pianoforte, built by Chris Maene. On this CD, full of premi?res, you can feel how the Russian composers from the late 18th, early 19th century opened their mind for western influences.
Those who love light but hearth warming pianoforte music, delightfully played by Tatiana Loguinova, will definetely like this CD in particular. Tatiana was already very successfull in Moscow as an interpreter of ancient music but is on her way now to conquer the Belgian musical scene.
Performer: Tatiana Loguinova, pianoforte Anton Walter (1795)
